Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Brand Manager to lead our brand strategy and oversee a team responsible for developing and executing cohesive brand campaigns. This role will be instrumental in shaping the brand’s identity through creative direction, multi-channel marketing, and strategic partnerships, while managing cross-functional collaboration with other departments. The Brand Manager will also be responsible for budget oversight, team management, and fostering a culture of creativity, strategic thinking, and brand excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Campaign Development
- Design and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the company’s vision, goals, and target audience.
- Develop compelling brand narratives and execute multi-channel campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., HR, Product, Customer Success) to ensure alignment of brand values and messaging across all departments and initiatives.
Team Management & Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of brand executives, coordinators, and interns, providing clear direction, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture that emphasizes creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set team goals, and support each team member in achieving their objectives.
Content Planning & Brand Visualization
- Oversee the development of content calendars, mood boards, and visual assets to guide creative projects from concept to completion.
- Collaborate closely with designers, photographers, and videographers to produce high-quality content, ensuring consistency with the brand’s visual identity and standards.
Creative Direction for Photography & Videography
- Provide hands-on creative direction for photography and videography projects, from planning themes and color schemes to overseeing on-site shoots.
- Ensure all visual content aligns with brand guidelines, enhancing brand recognition and customer engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Brand Partnerships
- Work with HR and internal teams to integrate brand values into employer branding and internal communications, supporting recruitment and employee engagement initiatives.
- Identify and manage external partnerships with relevant brands, influencers, and media outlets to enhance brand visibility and reach.
Public Relations & Media Management
- Develop and execute a strategic public relations plan to build brand reputation and secure positive media coverage.
- Cultivate relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry experts, coordinating press releases and media engagements that align with brand objectives.
Budget Management
- Oversee the brand department’s budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI on campaigns, partnerships, and creative production.
- Track expenses, report on budget performance, and adjust spending strategies to meet financial targets while maintaining high campaign quality.
Creative Content Production & Project Oversight
- Supervise content production schedules, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of assets in line with campaign goals.
- Review and approve all creative materials, ensuring they meet brand standards, project timelines, and strategic objectives.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Experience
- 5+ years in brand management, content strategy, or related fields, with experience managing a team.
Skills
- Proven expertise in brand strategy, narrative development, and cross-channel marketing.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and motivating a team of creatives and marketers.
- Proficiency in budget management and a data-driven approach to optimizing marketing spend.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
