Software Engineer

Job Summary:

As a Software Engineer at Bloomthis, you will have the opportunity to contribute to

the technical development and innovation of our on-demand gifting e-commerce

platform. In this role, you will be part of a lean Tech team to design, implement,

and maintain software solutions that deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement software applications using programming languages and frameworks such as PHP, Python, TypeScript, Laravel, and Next.js.
• Analyze existing systems, identify risks, and deliver innovative solutions to meet business requirements and deadlines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and selectively incorporate them into the development process to maintain a competitive edge.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and quality of the software applications.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, leveraging data-driven insights to drive informed technical solutions.
• Contribute to the overall business strategy by understanding the e-commerce and logistics domain and how technology can support the company's mission and goals.

Requirements:

• Proficient in server-side languages such as PHP, Python, or TypeScript, and web application frameworks like Laravel or Next.js.
• Familiarity with software architecture principles, design patterns, and system scalability concepts
• Hands-on experience in developing RESTful API services and integrating with database technologies like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Exposure to cloud service providers (GCP or AWS)
