Job Summary:
Are you a passionate Photographer looking for a new challenge and an opportunity to advance your career in a great working environment? BloomThis is seeking a Photographer to join our growing Marketing team. The Photographer will help to bring the BloomThis brand to life through contemporary product images, engaging lifestyle photos and dynamic visual content. This role will be responsible for concepting, styling, shooting and editing photos for products and campaigns. Experience with videos is an added plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand creative briefs and objectives
- Recommend and brainstorm creative ideas
- Suggest innovative ideas on lighting and shooting techniques
- Create concept mood boards
- Plan and coordinate photo & video shoots
- Arrange objects, scenes, lighting and background to adhere to specifications
- Direct models for the poses, mood and overall feel of the product shots
- Take professional photos in studio or on location
- Capture photos until you achieve desired results
- Edit photos with Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom
- Review photos & videos for consistent brand look & feel
- Ensure that equipment is looked after and stored away correctly
- Archive photos and videos and maintain database
- Keep abreast of photo/video best practices and procedures
Requirements:
- 2+ years of photography experience at a photo studio or brand
- BA in photography or related field
- Highly creative, imaginative and curious
- Strong creative presence and artistic flair
- Detailed knowledge of photography, set design and lighting
- Contemporary and engaging portfolio with strengths in product and lifestyle photography
- Hands-on experience with photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom)
- Experience producing photo assets for marketing campaigns
- Experience lighting, shooting and editing videos is an added advantage
- Highly self-motivated and well organised
- Able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
- Possess good people and project management skills
- Work well in a team and with a range of creative people
- Work within strict budgets
