Inventory Assistant (Petaling Jaya)

Job Summary:

The Inventory Assistant is responsible for handling various tasks related to inventory management, quality control and flower maintenance. This role required excellent organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate supply of flowers and other related materials. Coordinate with team lead or managers to maintain stock levels and ensure timely deliveries.
• Quality Control: Inspect incoming flowers for freshness, quality and adherence to specifications. Discard damaged or subpar products and maintain high standards for floral arrangements.
• Flower Maintenance: Care for flowers, including trimming stems, removing wilted petals, and ensure optimal hydration and storage conditions. Follow proper handling techniques to extend the lifespan of the flowers.
• General Assistance: Support the floral team in various tasks such as cleaning work areas, organising storage spaces and assisting with event setup and dismantling.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong sense of urgency, responsibility, focus and discipline.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends or evenings, as required.
