Job Purpose


  • Manages multiple petrol stations and marts in East Coast i.e. Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan, ensuring they operate efficiency and meet sales targets.


  • Manages and supervises dealer/operator/station manager, implementing company policies, analysing sales data and strategizing to improve performance.


  • Responsible for maintaining high standard for customer service, optimizing staff performance, managing budgets and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.


  • Implement new programs and initiatives for the overall Retail business to drive continuous improvement, overall growth and profitability. 


Key Accountabilities


1.    Leadership and Supervision:

  • Provide direction, support, and mentorship to territory managers.
  • Ensure territory managers are aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.

 

2.    Performance Management:

  • Set clear performance expectations for territory managers.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

 

3.    Sales and Profitability:

  • Drive sales growth and profitability through effective management of territory managers.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance across territories and implement improvement strategies.

 

4.    Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for territory managers.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

 

5.    Retail Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure territory managers maintain high standards of site operations.
  • Oversee compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards across territories.

 

6.    Customer Satisfaction:

  • Ensure territory managers prioritize customer service and satisfaction.
  • Address escalated customer issues and ensure effective resolution.


7.    Financial Management:

  • Manage budgets and financial targets for the territories.
  • Monitor expense control and profitability measures.

 

8.    Strategic, Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the territories.
  • Align territory activities with overall business objectives and strategies.

 

9.    Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
  • Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and strategy development.

 

10.  Marketing and Promotions:

  • Implement and supervise local marketing and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to drive traffic and sales.

 

11.  Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, engineering, convenience retailing, customer service unit, distribution and supply chain, to support territory managers.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination across functions.

 

12.  Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure all territories comply with health, safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.

 

13.  Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and business partners.
  • Represent the company in local business and community networks.

 

14.  Innovation and Improvement:

  • Encourage territory managers to identify and implement innovative practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

     1. Retailers           : Stations with annual turnover of RM350,000,000 million and above.

     2. Mogas Volume : 230,000,000 million liters and above

     3. Diesel Volume  : 120,000,000 million liters and above.

     4. Shop Sales       : RM20 million and above.

     5. Station               : 81 -85 Stations
