Role Summary
We are hiring a Business Development Executive to grow Beyond Insights through partnerships, affiliates, and high-leverage marketing channels. This role focuses on identifying and developing channel opportunities, closing partnership deals, and working with internal teams and external partners to execute campaigns — with strong attention to ROI, conversion performance, and profitability.
This is not a direct sales role. You are not expected to close individual customers 1-to-1. Your job is to build and optimize channels that consistently bring in qualified customers.
Key Responsibilities
Partnerships & Affiliates
- Identify, qualify, and develop strategic partners and affiliate relationships (a preliminary list is available).
- Build partner proposals and commercial structures (commission, revenue share, joint campaigns, collaborations).
- Manage partner relationships professionally with clear deliverables and timelines.
Deal Closing & Contracting
- Lead negotiations and close partnership agreements.
- Coordinate internal requirements and ensure partner commitments can be executed operationally.
- Support contract development and ensure smooth implementation across teams.
Growth Channels & Profitability
- Evaluate marketing channels based on ROI, cost efficiency, and scalability.
- Track channel performance and recommend where to scale, improve, or stop.
- Work with internal stakeholders to improve conversion performance where needed.
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Design channel-led campaigns (channels, mechanics, budget use, timeline, deliverables).
- Coordinate execution with partners, affiliates, agencies, and internal teams.
- Run post-campaign reviews and implement improvements.
Success Metrics (Examples)
- Growth in qualified leads and enrollments attributable to partner/channel initiatives
- Improved channel ROI / lower acquisition cost over time
- Strong execution discipline: on-time launches, accurate tracking, clean reporting
- Expansion of active partner/affiliate portfolio producing measurable outcomes
Requirements
Experience
- 2–5 years in partnerships, business development (alliances), growth marketing, channel development, or a similar commercial role.
- Demonstrated track record of growing a channel or partnership initiative with measurable results.
Capabilities
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working with numbers (ROI, cost, conversion rates) and using data to make decisions.
- Solid project coordination and follow-through across multiple parties.
- Able to work independently, learn fast, and execute with discipline.
Nice to Have
- Experience in education, events, coaching, financial services, or community-driven businesses.
- Familiarity with affiliate programs, campaign tracking (e.g., UTMs/referral links), and digital funnel concepts.
