Loan Tele-Collection Officer

JOB POSITION

• Loan Tele-Collection Executive

Attempt to collect payment on overdue bills by informing customers of their debt and various repayment options. When agreeable payment terms are not reached, collections officers/executives take further action in order to collect payment on debts.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Make Calls to Clients - The collection executive attempts to locate and contact clients, primarily over the phone, to talk with them about their debts. This includes calling customers at home, at work, and on their cellular phones
• Negotiate Payment Schedules - The collection executive speaks to customers to negotiate payment plans and payment schedules that suit their current financial situation while still satisfying the debt.
• Advise Customers - The collection executive advise customers on their various payment options. If no payment agreement can be reached, collections officers inform customers of further actions that may be taken to collect overdue debts.
• Maintain Customer Files - The collection executive keep customer files updated, recording times and dates that contact has been made and noting information that customers have received about their debt.
• Prepare Statements - The collection executive prepares statements to be given to credit departments and banks when customers fail to meet their payment agreements or when no payment agreement can be made.
• Write Letters - The collection executive writes letters to customers to inform them of their debts. When customers fail to meet their payment obligations and fail to make payment agreements, collections officers write letters to credit agencies, insurance companies, lawyers, and customers’ employers to collect debt without the customer’s aid.
• Answer Phones - The collection executive answers incoming calls from customers and other individuals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Good interpersonal, negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Must be well-versed in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Must be able to manage staff ethically and fairly while still being firm in enforcing the company rules.
• Must be able to effectively prioritize tasks.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to exercise critical thinking skills and sound judgment.
• Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree.
• 1 to 4 years of working experience.
• Applicable for Malaysian citizens only.

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Salary: RM2000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month.

All employees are required to wear a mask, hand sanitiser is provided, common surfaces are sanitized regularly, and have completed the COVID-19 vaccination with a booster dose.
