- Support editorial and campaign shoots, including lighting, equipment, and photo/video setup.
- Follow briefs, shot lists, and brand guidelines to maintain consistency in lighting, composition, colour, and product presentation.
- Check product positioning and details on set, flagging issues before they become post-production work.
Editing & Retouching
- Edit and retouch product and model imagery using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Carry out skin retouching, colour correction, product-detail enhancement, and image clean-up to meet approved visual standards.
- Apply commercial retouching techniques while preserving an accurate representation of the product’s colour, finish, shape, and details.
- Translate review feedback into clear revisions and check image quality before submission.
- Prepare final exports with the correct dimensions, formats, colour profiles, and file names.
Asset Organisation & Production Coordination
- Keep working files, image selections, feedback rounds, and approved assets clearly organised across shared drives.
- Maintain asset trackers so the team can see what is being shot, edited, reviewed, or delivered.
- Prepare organised image sets for internal reviews and handovers.
- Track assigned deadlines and dependencies, flagging missing information, delays, or capacity concerns early.
- Coordinate with Creative, Marketing, Product Design, Product Development, and Merchandising on product details and delivery requirements.
Process & Workflow Improvement
- Work with the creative team to improve shoot preparation, lighting setups, on-set product checks, and post-production workflows.
- Help develop and maintain photography and retouching guidelines, including reference images, repeatable setups, editing standards, and quality-control checklists.
- Identify recurring issues that cause reshoots, repeated editing rounds, or delivery delays, and suggest practical improvements.
- Test agreed improvements with the team and document successful techniques so they can be applied consistently.
- Keep guidelines current as products, tools, and production requirements evolve.
Team & Studio Support
- Take direction openly, ask questions when a brief is unclear, and apply feedback thoughtfully.
- Communicate progress and blockers without waiting to be chased.
- Maintain cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and a clean, organised studio.
