What You'll Do:
The Product Developer will manage Ask & Embla's complete product lifecycle. You will own timelines and critical paths, collaborate across teams to optimize processes, and ensure smooth product development from initiation to closing.
- Manage and plan the timeline and critical path of all phases of the product life cycle including: initiation, planning, execution, and closing Work across various business units to document, optimize, automate, and simplify processes
- Create product development plans including scope, schedule, critical path, milestones, and risk assessment
- Accountable for tracking statuses across all phases of the product life cycle
- Identify issues, facilitate resolution, and make necessary adjustments to plans
- Establish and set up monitoring and reporting processes across various business units
- Proactively communicate project status updates within core team, Merchandising team, Marketing team, and senior management
- Assist teams in developing effective business cases / files for new projects
- Collect and translate data into actionable insights
- Prepare or automate the preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and ad-hoc reports to ensure timely updates of product development statuses
- Ensure design, product development, and merchandising teams are all aware of their respective timelines, deliverables and milestones
- Make recommendations based on past performance & predict trends
- Ensure product lifecycle management software is being utilized and that data is kept up to date and organized
- Participate in continuous learning and skill development, staying updated with industry trends and adapting your approach to changing market demands
- Any other tasks as required by the product development team
Who You Are:
- A diploma or degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or Jewellery related fields highly preferred
- More than 2 years of experience in product development or project management related fields
- Proactive and outgoing personality with a positive and solutions oriented mentality - You will be speaking to and coordinating with suppliers regularly
- Excellent organizational skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-player mindset, ready to help in different parts of the team
- Excellent English written communication skills; proficiency or conversational level of Mandarin is preferred, but not required
- Thick-skinned, and comfortable making requests under tight deadlines
- Must be tech savvy and able to adopt and use new tools quickly
Location: In-person or onsite at Singapore
Salary Range: SGD 3,800 to 4,300
