Job Brief:
We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Finance) to drive the automation of our financial reporting and work with the Head of Finance to build our ERP system. Sitting within the Data & BI team, you will serve as the dedicated BI partner to our Regional Finance function—translating complex financial requirements into scalable reporting solutions, reliable data models, and actionable insights.
This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable writing SQL and presenting findings to senior finance stakeholders, and who brings a genuine curiosity about how AI and emerging technologies can transform the way we work with data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources across our e-commerce operations.
- Perform deep-dive analyses on operational and financial data (e.g., marketplace performance, cost-to-serve, unit economics) to surface actionable insights for Regional Finance.
- Build self-service BI tools and reports that empower Finance and Operations teams to make data-driven decisions independently.
- Map existing financial workflows, identify gaps, and design future-state processes that align with ERP capabilities.
- Act as a key liaison between Finance and the Data & BI team during ERP implementation, ensuring data integrity, proper chart of accounts setup, and seamless integration with existing systems.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, with experience partnering Finance teams. Preferably within e-commerce, retail, or technology companies.
- Strong SQL proficiency - comfortable writing complex queries, CTEs, window functions, and performance-tuning across large datasets.
- Hands-on experience with at least one BI/visualization tool (e.g. Power BI or Looker).
- Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and month-end close processes.
- Excellent communication skills—able to distill complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
