About the Role:
The Art Director/ Team Lead is responsible for leading creative directions and delivering high-quality, on-brand digital design across AIRR Labs’ e-commerce and social commerce platforms. This role focuses on conceptualizing and producing effective, engaging creative assets for e-commerce platform stores, web pages, and integrated digital campaigns.
You are ideas-led, ensure creative excellence through strong review and mentorship of the design team, and keep all digital creative output leading-edge. The role requires hands-on experience with AI-powered creative tools such as Midjourney, Gemini, and ChatGPT, as well as working knowledge of animation. This position reports directly to the Chief Creative Officer, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the local Country Head.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead concept and create assets for digital & integrated campaigns, e-commerce platform stores, product graphics, social media posts and banners, static and rich banner ads, email campaigns, and affiliate sites.
- Translate brand and product positioning, existing research, and offline/online marketing strategies into effective, high-performance digital designs.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that designs are aligned with brand identity as well as usability, accessibility, and best practice industry standards.
- Work with internal teams to translate and create marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate campaigns and designs
- Manage and produce digital design work, including banner sizing and versioning.
- Ensure consistency of brand and creative across digital customer touch points.
- Have outstanding attention to detail and solid graphic design principles.
- Continually maintain awareness of customer behavior to maximize effectiveness of creative assets.
- Offline design as and when required (product package inserts, wrapping etc).
- Broaden and enhance knowledge by keeping up to date with digital innovations and competitors.
- Being a brand ambassador ensuring that all touch points are in line with the brand DNA.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Multimedia, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in digital design, preferably in e-commerce, social commerce, agency, or design studio environments.
- Proven experience in leading, mentoring, or reviewing the work of a design team.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; experience with motion design or animation is required.
- Hands-on experience using AI-powered creative tools such as Midjourney, Gemini, and ChatGPT.
- Strong portfolio showcasing idea-led, performance-driven digital work across static, animated, and mobile-first formats.
- Good English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with regional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
