The People Operation Specialist plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations, reliable IT support, and positive employee experiences across the organization. This role supports both the physical workplace and the people within it, helping create an environment where employees can work efficiently and feel supported.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, well-organized, and service-minded, with the ability to manage multiple operational tasks while maintaining a people-first mindset. This role works closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure office operations, IT readiness, and employee engagement activities run seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming work environment
  • Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and vendor management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the building juristic person and external service providers
  • Manage office supplies, facilities, and general administrative operations
  • Set up and configure laptops and devices for new hires and existing employees
  • Provide first-level IT support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and Wi-Fi connectivity
  • Maintain laptop inventory, asset tracking, and device lifecycle management
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers as required
  • Co-host employee engagement initiatives and internal activities.
  • Support the planning and execution of company events, team activities, and culture-building programs
  • Support other operational and people-related tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in Office Administration, Workplace Management or People Operation.
  • Experience working in start-up or small size of company.
  • Be able to identify the urgency of the tasks and able to priorities accordingly.
  • Strong communication and negotiation for both internal and external including timeline and price negotiation.
  • Basic IT knowledge (laptop setup, Wi-Fi, troubleshooting)
  • Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environment.
  • Team player, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling hands-on tasks
