The Business Development Manager plays a key role in driving the company’s commercial growth through hands-on business execution, strong relationship management, and operational coordination. This role connects strategy and execution, driving brand partnerships, and ensuring smooth collaboration across teams. You will work with the Head of Commercial and internal teams to drive partnership execution, streamline processes, and ensure smooth coordination across business functions to deliver growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential brands that align with the different platforms’ target audience and market trends.
- Work alongside with Head of Commercial for end-to-end partnership processes — from prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and onboarding.
- Create compelling presentations outlining the unique advantages and opportunities for brands to engage with the platforms’ diverse user base.
- Support the Head of Commercial in executing business strategies through collaboration, partner feedback, and market understanding.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with brands, platforms, and strategic partners.
- Act as a point of contact for day-to-day client needs, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Track and evaluate partner performance, working with internal teams to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate onboarding with internal teams, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with platform requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance workflow efficiency and partner satisfaction, while staying informed on e-commerce trends and competitor activities
Requirements:
- 4–6 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or account management within e-commerce, or related industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple accounts or projects simultaneously.
- Strong executional and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive communicator with strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
