Key Responsibilities:
1. Concept Development for Social Commerce
- Research customer insights and trending content formats across TikTok Shop, Shopee Live, and Facebook Reels.
- Develop creative angles, campaign ideas, and persuasive key messages for product launches, mega campaigns, and livestream events.
- Write hooks, taglines, and scripts that are highly engaging, shareable, and conversion-focused.
- Continuously A/B test headlines, descriptions, and CTAs to optimize conversion rates.
2. Content Creation & Optimization
- Draft detailed livestream scripts including flow, host dialogues, product introductions, flash deal announcements, and scenario handling to maximize engagement and sales.
- Create short-form video scripts for TikTok, Shopee Video, and Reels across popular formats (reviews, unboxing, tips, mini-stories) to drive both sales and community growth.
- Optimize product names, descriptions (SEO-friendly), and shop décor on e-commerce platforms to boost visibility and conversions.
- Collaborate with KOLs/KOCs and livestream hosts to ensure scripts are natural, engaging, and effective.
3. Team Leadership & Creative Direction
- Manage and assign tasks to the content writing team specializing in social/e-commerce.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery of all content across social commerce channels.
- Provide guidance and training on new writing techniques and emerging content trends on TikTok and Shopee.
4. Analytics & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Account, Production, and Commercial teams to measure content performance based on KPIs.
- Extract insights from data and adjust content strategies to maximize impact.
- Act as a bridge between creative storytelling and business objectives, ensuring content both engages audiences and drives revenue.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Copywriter, ideally with strong exposure to Social Commerce, E-commerce, Production Houses, or Agencies.
- In-depth knowledge of TikTok (especially TikTok Shop), Shopee, and consumer behavior on social platforms.
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to capture trends and transform them into compelling sales content.
- Experience writing livestream and short-form video scripts is a major advantage.
- Data-driven mindset: ability to interpret key marketing metrics and use them to optimize content.
- Strong team management skills and ability to work independently.
- Proactive, adaptable, and highly creative with a sharp sense of what works in ever-changing social media algorithms and trends.
