Accounting Manager plays an execution-focused role in managing the end-to-end accounting operations of AIRR Labs Thailand. This includes full-loop accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
The role also supports accurate client billing, vendor payments, and AR/AP processes. Working closely with commercial and cross-functional teams, this position ensures smooth financial execution to support business growth and profitability. In addition, the Accounting Manager leads and develops the local finance team and contributes to a high-performance, solution-oriented finance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Accounting Management: Oversee the full accounting cycle, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL). Ensure billing, vendor payments, and client collections are executed accurately and on time.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports, including Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and sales performance reports.
- Financial Health Monitoring: Monitor the brand’s financial performance and budget adherence to ensure operations remain efficient and cost-effective.
- Proactive Issue Resolution: Identify, assess, and resolve financial and operational issues. Take ownership of challenges and drive effective solutions to maintain smooth day-to-day operations, including engagement with client finance teams on financial issues, if any
- Audit and Compliance Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and consistently monitor AIRR (Accuracy, Integrity, Relevance, and Reliability).
- Team Mentorship and Support: Provide guidance and mentorship to the Associate, fostering a supportive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure stakeholders support any tasks related to Finance and Accounting, including on-boarding new clients.
- Process Improvement and Innovation: Lead initiatives to enhance accounting processes through automation or system upgrades. Collaborate with both local and regional teams to implement innovative, scalable solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a finance role with a strong emphasis on end-to-end accounting processes.
- Proven experience in either a public accounting firm or an in-house finance function, with operational finance experience being a significant advantage.
- Highly skill in Microsoft Excel with CPD or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- Experience in a fast-paced or e-commerce/tech-enabled business is a plus
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
