We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Editor/Videographer with a deep understanding and love for short-form video content. This role is perfect for a creative individual who can independently manage the entire video production process – from conceptualization and shooting to editing and final delivery. You will work closely with our copywriters, creatives, and brand managers to bring brand visions to life, ensuring all content is compelling, on-brand, and delivered on time.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Video Production: Conceptualize, plan, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form video content suitable for various digital platforms (e.g., TikTok, Reels, etc.).
- Work closely with copywriters, creatives, and brand managers to understand project briefs, objectives, and brand guidelines.
- Handle all aspects of video production, including camera operation, lighting setup, audio recording, and post-production (editing, color grading, basic motion graphics, sound mixing).
- Translate concepts and creative briefs into visually engaging and effective video narratives.
- Effectively manage and incorporate client/internal feedback, making necessary revisions to meet expectations.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery according to project timelines and deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest video trends, techniques, and platform best practices, proactively suggesting new ideas and approaches.
- Organize and maintain video footage, project files, and other digital assets.
- Be available for occasional on-location shoots as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Videographer and Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing expertise in short-form video content.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or other industry-standard tools.
- Understanding of the entire video production workflow, from pre-production to post-production.
- Basic knowledge of still photography principles (composition, lighting, etc.) and ability to capture quality photos.
- Exceptional creativity and a strong eye for visual detail and storytelling.
- Ability to understand and interpret creative briefs and brand guidelines accurately.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual with a passion for continuous learning and exploring new creative avenues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Familiarity with various social media platform video specifications and best practices.
- Experience working in a fast-paced agency or in-house content team.
