Live Streaming Specialist (MC)
The Live Streaming Specialist (MC) serves as the on-air talent of our TikTok livestreams, delivering engaging, on-brand presentations to showcase products and connect with audiences in real time. This role is responsible for driving viewer interaction, sustaining audience interest, and supporting conversion goals through a dynamic, authentic on-screen presence. Collaborating closely with commercial, production, and content teams, the MC ensures strong product knowledge, script alignment, and smooth execution. Beyond hosting, the role contributes to session planning, shares performance feedback, and adjusts hosting style based on campaign objectives and real-time audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Live Performance & On-Air Execution
- Operate and manage live streaming sessions, ensuring seamless performance across both front-end and back-end operations.
- Ensure all live sessions are conducted safely and responsibly, with no disruption or damage to company property.
- Analyze live stream results and generate regular performance insight reports, highlighting key metrics such as viewership, engagement, and sales performance.
- Identify trends and propose content or process improvements to enhance future stream effectiveness.
Pre-Live Streaming Preparation
- Coordinate all necessary resources including MCs, studios, and equipment to ensure readiness before each session.
- Manage booking and scheduling of MCs and live admin, ensuring timeliness and availability.
- Support ad-hoc streaming needs by sourcing and assigning appropriate resources in alignment with business goals.
- Minimize delays or cancellations related to studio and equipment logistics.
Creative Asset & Workflow Management
- Manage the live stream creative production workflow, from receiving briefs through final approvals.
- Liaise with the design team to ensure timely submission and production of required visual assets.
- Review final artwork and materials to ensure accuracy and alignment with campaign briefs.
Quality Assurance
- Oversee key live streaming sessions to ensure compliance with brand guidelines and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review outcomes and address any operational concerns or feedback.
Ownership & Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the key point of contact for all live stream-related matters across internal and external communication channels.
- Participate in live stream planning meetings and contribute production-related insights.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Videographer and Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing expertise in short-form video content.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or other industry-standard tools.
- Understanding of the entire video production workflow, from pre-production to post-production.
- Basic knowledge of still photography principles (composition, lighting, etc.) and ability to capture quality photos.
- Exceptional creativity and a strong eye for visual detail and storytelling.
- Ability to understand and interpret creative briefs and brand guidelines accurately.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual with a passion for continuous learning and exploring new creative avenues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Familiarity with various social media platform video specifications and best practices.
- Experience working in a fast-paced agency or in-house content team.
