Studios Copywriter
The Studios Copywriter is responsible for producing engaging, clear, compelling copy for various channels such as but not limited to websites, print and digital ads, e-commerce and other mediums. Their duties include researching keywords, producing interesting written content and proofreading their work for accuracy and quality. Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times.
The Studios Copywriter also contributes ideas and apply intelligent, creative thinking to a range of different mediums. The right person ensures our digital creative product remains leading edge and the quality of our delivery is upheld. The Studios Copywriter reports directly to the Studios Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Write original, clear, and error-free content for several mediums that reflects the company’s or client’s voice
- Assist the team with ideas and provide them with creative input for new designs
- Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action
- Comfortably vary voice, style and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience at hand
- Interpreting creative direction and technical information then turning them into persuasive copy concepts
- Collaborating with the different departments to brainstorm and develop a variety of materials, develop creative strategy conceptualization and execution of major campaigns
- Promote a culture of innovation and teamwork
- Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging •Participate in UX copy creation & updates for e-Commerce platforms; Shopee, Lazada, Zalora
- Assist with business pitches to win new clients or projects
- Edit your own and others’ writing
- Research client’s industry and their audience to be able to connect well to the readers.
- Project management skills is a plus
- Other duties assigned by senior management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or any related field.
- 3 years of experience in an advertising agency or design studio in a copywriter role.
- Excellent leadership, organization, and analytical skills.
- Great time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to resolve complex design ideas and communication issues.
- Ability to understand the needs associated with a project and the target audience.
