Job Profile: Senior Client Account Executive

Job Summary
The Senior Client Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities. This role serves as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining long-term strategic relationships, coordinating with internal departments, and achieving complex sales and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate new customer accounts.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate commercial terms with customers.
- Monitor customer forecasts, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.
- Resolve customer complaints, quality issues, and delivery concerns in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular customer visits, meetings, and business reviews.
- Prepare sales forecasts, account plans, and monthly sales reports.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Ensure timely payment collection and coordinate with Finance on outstanding receivables.
- Support new product introduction (NPI), project implementation, and engineering changes.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation in the ERP/CRM system.
- Represent the company professionally during customer visits, exhibitions, and business events.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer service, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience handling OEM, EMS, electronics, automotive, or industrial customers is an advantage.
Essential Skills & Knowledge
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience using ERP or CRM systems is an advantage.
- Willing to travel for customer visits when required.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage for liaising with Mandarin-speaking customers.
