Job Summary
A Production Executive is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and cost objectives are achieved. The role involves coordinating manpower, machines, materials, and processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet output and delivery schedules.
- Ensure production is carried out in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Supervise production personnel and allocate resources effectively to achieve production targets.
- Monitor machine utilization, production efficiency, and downtime, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Coordinate with Planning, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize costs.
- Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure sufficient materials and manpower are available to support production requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and present performance updates to management.
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen activities.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Support new product introductions, process improvements, and capacity expansion projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production operations.
- Experience supervising production teams is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is beneficial.
