As an IT Administrator, you will have a chance to:

Customer-Facing Preventive Maintenance & Deployment

  • Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance cycles for large-scale customer environments (managing extensive inventories of network devices and endpoints across multiple nationwide sites).
  • Conduct routine diagnostic checks on client hardware, monitoring critical health metrics to predict and prevent hardware failures.
  • Ensure all PM activities and minor deployments are completed within strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for enterprise and government clients.
  • Document, maintain, and centralize critical preventive maintenance knowledge, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and site-specific troubleshooting guides to ensure long-term continuity of service.
  • Generate comprehensive post-maintenance reports, detailing device status, applied updates, and recommendations for hardware life-cycle replacements.

Hardware Deployment & Site Operations

  • Assist the field and engineering teams with the staging, configuration, and physical deployment of IT hardware for minor customer-facing and internal projects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, field engineers, and third-party vendors for deployment and maintenance site visits, ensuring appropriate access clearances and minimal disruption to customer operations.
  • Ensure all minor deployments and hardware installations are completed efficiently and meet established client service expectations.

Internal Infrastructure Maintenance

  • Perform routine maintenance on internal infrastructure, with a strong focus on Active Directory (AD), Microsoft 365, and SharePoint Online.
  • Regularly audit and deploy Group Policy Objects (GPOs), manage SharePoint permissions, and review user access controls to maintain strict security postures.
  • Schedule and deploy routine software updates, security patches, and system upgrades for all internal servers and employee workstations.
  • Routinely test data backup integrity and disaster recovery protocols to ensure business continuity.

Customer IT Asset Management

  • Maintain a comprehensive, highly accurate registry of all customer-supported hardware fleets, specifically focusing on large-scale, multi-site network device inventories.
  • Ensure the asset inventory is consistently kept up to date to accurately reflect any hardware changes, new deployments, replacements, or decommissioned equipment.
  • Track hardware warranties, software support licenses, and device lifecycles for customer infrastructure from post-deployment handover through to decommissioning and secure disposal.
  • Conduct regular audits of customer IT assets to ensure accurate inventory records, support maintenance costing, and maintain compliance

Quality Assurance, Project Kick-offs & Proposal Support

  • Assist the Service Delivery team in drafting technical proposals, tender responses, and cost estimations specifically related to post-deployment support, ongoing preventive maintenance contracts, and SLA agreements.
  • Actively engage in all organizational ISO matters, supporting compliance, audits, and committee activities across multiple standards (including 9001 QMS, 37001 ABMS, 45001 OH&S, and 14001 EMS).
  • Design and prepare professional, detailed presentation slides for both internal committee formations and large-scale external project kick-offs.
  • Actively represent the IT Operations team in project kick-off meetings, ensuring technical baselines, scope of support, and preventive maintenance schedules are clearly defined and communicated from day one.
  • Identify bottlenecks in current PM workflows and propose automated or streamlined solutions to reduce downtime and monthly support costs.

Proposed Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Percentage of preventive maintenance cycles completed on schedule and within budget.
  • 100% adherence to established client SLAs for the staging, configuration, and physical deployment of hardware for minor projects.
  • Accuracy, currency, and audit-readiness of the customer IT asset management registry.
  • Successful preparation and delivery of kick-off materials and post-support proposals within established project timelines.
  • Zero major non-conformances in IT operations during internal or external ISO audits.
  • Responsible for adheringto Company’s BusinessContinuity Plan (BCP)by understanding the plan and the role as well as taking ownership for specific action
  • Maintain updated knowledgeof company productsand services by participating in educational activities
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities that are assignedby the Management from time to time

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Minimum Diploma/bachelor’s degree of Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics or Equivalent.
  • At least 1 experience in IT Helpdesk Role.
  • Willing to work on extra time, public holidays, or weekend when necessary.
  • Possesses understanding and technical ability in IT Networking, Security & Cloud Services.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with good time management and organizational skills.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills: confident in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Able to interact with customers professionally on behalf of the company
