R&D Engineer

We are looking for a R&D Engineer who would like to grow with us, clearly defined by three things:

As a R&D Engineer, you will have a chance to:

• Conduct research to identify new technologies, materials, and methods that can enhance our service offerings
• Assist in developing new solutions and improve the existing products/processes based on research findings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including COE, OPS, VPT, and product managers to ensure the successful implementation of R&D projects
• Perform experiments, tests, and analyses to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of research, technical writing, and development processes
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in relevant fields
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions to overcome challenges during the development process
• Maintain a safe and organized R&D environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
• Assist in migrating and scaling up successful prototypes to production levels
• Present research findings, project updates, and technical reports to both internal teams and stakeholders
• Assist in developing and delivering training programs for internal teams

We are looking for an individual with:

• Diploma or higher educational qualification in Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology, or any equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
• Strong understanding of scientific and engineering principles, with the ability to apply them to practical applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a creative mindset for innovative solution development
• Proficiency in using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Travis CI, etc.
• Experience with any containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and related security practices
• Familiar with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and their security offerings
• Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate operation processes.
• Excellent understanding of technical concepts associated with security operations and development operations.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Understanding of security considerations in API development and integration
