Network Security Engineer (3-Year Contract)

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer who would like to grow with us, clearly defined by three things:

As a Network Security Engineer, you will have a chance to:

• Ensuring the related network and security solutions are running in optimum condition.
• Monitor the health and the uptime of related network and security services via the given NMS.
• Provide support and handling all escalated issues of the related network and security services.
• Implement IT network security infrastructure including related servers.
• Prepare documentations and reports that requires for action in terms of changes not limited to network, firewalls, VMware, servers, foot flow analysis & captive portal changes.
• Manage Network infrastructure operation services including provisioning and configuration not limited to routers/ switches/ firewalls/ access points/ cabling/ servers/ DHCP/ Foot Flow Analytics and others.
• Provide support and periodic network configuration verification which includes firewall policy clean up and optimization; to ensure processes are in place to address infrastructure build activity, including implement in accordance to infra-architecture guideline, SOP, and configuration documents when required.
• Collaborate with the teams for on-going maintenance, e.g., infra-application version upgrade, hotfix deploy, system monitoring, job automations and security hardening.
• Handling of onsite support that follows the SLA. Engage and liaise with TAC should issues requires Principal support.

We are looking for an individual with:

• Diploma/ Bachelor Degree/ Professional Certificate preferably in IT/ Information Systems/ Computer Science.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience on network and security solutions e.g Switches, Access Point, Firewalls, Server, VMware, etc
• Experience working with a System Integrator (SI) or Technology Consulting organization.
• Experience working as Residence Engineer in structured organization.
• HCNP, HCNA or any related certifications will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; confident in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
