Senior Security Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer who would like to grow with us, clearly defined by three things:

As a Senior Security Engineer, you will have a chance to:

• Responsible for project progress monitoring, develop strategy and lead deployment including handover to operations by coordinating activities across suppliers/ vendors, internal departments and business stakeholders
• Understand customers’ needs and their system requirements, and the cyber security or network security solutions proposed to customers
• Assist Sales Team to facilitate progression towards deal closure
• Participate in and contribute to the overall implementation of solutions from pre-sales to post-sales
• Manage and implement cyber security changes in accordance to the technology architecture design and standard
• Assist in setting up and maintenance of the organization’s systems to ensure reliability & stability throughout the deployment
• Initiate necessary tests, audits and changes to ensure end-to-end solution integrity/technical feasibility across the products and services sold to the customers
• Manage security infrastructure operation services including provisioning and configuration as well as handle on-site support following SLA
• Provide cyber security support and periodic security configuration verification
• Perform project delivery from implementation to handover/acceptance by Operations team.
• Collaborate with the teams for on-going maintenance e.g. infra-application version or hotfix update, system monitoring, job automations
• Responsible for installation of clients’ security products; assisting customers to deploy and integrate security products in their existing environment
• Handle customers’ technical support, perform first level troubleshooting and resolution as well as monitor, track and communicate the status of support requests
• Perform preventive maintenance for customers, firmware upgrade, health check monthly or quarter report and etc
• Attend technical meetings with customers, respond to RFP, ensure successful Proofs-Of-Concept (POCs) and advise on best practices
• Stay updated with the latest solution or technology and propose to company as solution offerings on cyber security and network security, such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, ethical hacking and etc

We are looking for an individual with:

• Diploma/ Bachelor Degree/ Professional Certificate preferably in IT/ Information Systems/ Computer Science
• Minimum 4 years of hand-on experience on network and cybersecurity solutions e.g Firewalls, Advanced Persistent Threats, Email Gateway, etc
• Experience working with a System Integrator (SI) or Technology Consulting organization
• Good knowledge with network security products such as firewall, WAF, and vulnerability assessment
• CCNA, PCNSE, PCCSE, NSE and CISSP certifications will be an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; confident in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
