3cat is growing in the Philippines, and we’re looking for a Business Operations Intern to join us for a 3 - 6 month full-time internship, working closely with our CEO and founders as we build our presence in a brand new market.
You’ll be part of the action from day one, working across the business and helping turn ideas into reality. One day you could be researching the market, the next you could be supporting a partnership or helping bring a new project to life.
If you’ve ever thought, “I want to start something of my own one day,” this is a chance to see what building a business actually looks like from the inside.
The Role
You’ll work closely with our CEO and founders as we figure out how to build and grow 3cat in the Philippines.
This is a broad business operations role, so you won’t be stuck doing the same thing every day. You’ll get involved across operations, market research, business development, partnerships and marketing, depending on what the business needs.
You might find yourself:
- Getting the Philippines office off the ground by helping the CEO and founders research, set up and get things moving as we build our new office.
- Playing detective by digging into the Philippines market, potential clients, partners, competitors and opportunities, then turning what you find into useful insights.
- Hunting for opportunities by identifying potential clients, partners and new business opportunities and helping take them forward.
- Making things happen by supporting projects from idea to execution, whether that means researching, planning, coordinating or getting stuck into the details.
- Jumping into the mix by taking on different projects and helping wherever the business needs an extra pair of hands.
Some projects will come with a clear brief. Others might start with a question, a problem or a “how do we actually do this?” You’ll have the opportunity to take initiative, figure things out and try things, while working closely with and getting guidance from the CEO and founders along the way.
You won’t be expected to know everything. We’re looking for someone who’s curious enough to ask, resourceful enough to figure it out and willing to get your hands dirty.

We’re open to students and recent graduates from any field of study, and we’re excited by people who bring a strong track record, curiosity, drive and a genuine interest in building businesses.
You’ll fit right in if you:
- Have a track record of excellence and have challenged yourself through academics, leadership, entrepreneurship, projects or other pursuits.
- Are naturally curious, ask good questions and genuinely enjoy figuring out how things work.
- Are proactive and willing to roll up your sleeves and get things moving without waiting to be told what to do.
- Are resourceful and comfortable finding answers, solving problems and making progress when there’s no clear playbook.
- Are genuinely interested in how businesses are built and want to learn how different parts of a growing company come together.
- Enjoy working with people and feel comfortable sharing ideas, asking questions and working closely with our CEO and founders.
Most importantly, you’re hungry to learn, willing to get involved and excited by the opportunity to build something that didn’t exist before.
